Welcome to Team Talbot Road! Started by Dr Emily Zakrajsek in 2021, we are a mixed animal mobile veterinary practice that services the counties of Norfolk, Oxford, Brant and Elgin. While we have a primary interest in horses and companion animals we are happy to discuss working on any species!
About Our Practice
Talbot Road Veterinary Services is a mixed animal practice just outside of Delhi, Ontario. Our dedicated and experienced team takes care of a range of species including equines, dogs, cats, ruminants, and more. Our dedicated staff shares a goal of providing personalized, one-on-one care for all our patients and clients. We also know that medical emergencies don't always fall within the workday hours so we ensure after-hours care will be accessible for all our clients 24/7!
Mobile Service
We offer a mobile service to come to your home or farm to care for your pets and livestock throughout the counties of Norfolk, Oxford, Elgin, and Brant. Do not hesitate to call us and book a visit today!
In Clinic Service
Now open! Come visit us at our BRAND NEW top-of-the-line facility! Boasting the newest in diagnostics (xray, ultrasound, in-house bloodwork etc) our beautiful space is ready to welcome companion animals of all kinds. Unique as well we have an equine portion of the clinic with 2 overnight stalls and a set of stocks for more advanced equine work. WELLNESS EXAMS
Yearly wellness exams are a crucial part of any animal's health! You can rest assured that a thorough physical examination of your pet will be performed and later recorded to allow for year-to-year trends and health considerations to be noted.
VACCINATIONS
As a mainstay in animal health we are passionate about ensuring all our patients are protected. For those cats and dogs that prefer not to travel we are happy to come to you!

EMERGENCY CARE

We provide 24-hour emergency care for our clients. As a solo practitioner Dr Emily has a commitment to her clients first and foremost but will be happy to aid others where possible. Additional resources will be provided when Dr Emily is not available to ensure all patients receive the appropriate care!
PEACEFUL ENDINGS
At Talbot Road we are committed to ensuring that your pet's final moments are as peaceful and dignified as possible. We are here to provide families with support and care during the hardest of times.
SURGERY
Our top-of-the-line surgical suite is now up and ready to go! We offer in-clinic spays, neuters, dentals and soft tissue surgeries (enucleations, foreign bodies and so much more!).
On-farm we still offer routine equine castrations and laceration repairs along with goat and cattle castrations via the burdizzo method
DENTAL CARE
Oral health is important to us! We offer dental care for all critters big and small!
MICROCHIPPING
Make sure your family members always make it home safe! We provide microchipping for dogs, cats and horses!
